I am all about re-creating myself and helping other single women in their re-creation process after struggling through family disasters and financial collapse. I have been given many blessings over the past 40 years. I have gained insights and experience since re-educating myself in tandem with many other courageous women. My focus is not on survival but on learning healthy ways to truly FLOURISH in the world while helping other single women who wish to stay sane, sober and learn how to FLOURISH also! (catchy word, this word FLOURISH, and it feels good when you work at being one with it!)
Women of Profound Insight and Wisdom
My greatest learning experience has been through motherhood as well as through tragedy and having to rebuild my life, or die, or spend my life following doctors' orders. I chose to rebuild my life, defy death and ditch the doctors! Did a pretty nice job of it too if I might say so myself.
I rebuilt myself thanks to the brilliant holistic "tool" offerings from hundreds of mentors, books, workshops, and thousands of people who did the hands-on field work of having to deal with me in person. I owe a lot of people a deep measure of gratitude for my success.
Through a vast amount of re-education, re-creation, tears, laughter, sweat, and a huge variety of rewards both tangible and intangable I am a reasonably confident, capable, comfortable person with tons of wisdom and gratitude to offer up! Paying my debt is pure, solid joy! Believe it!
Twenty incredible life-altering, mind-blowing years of living and working in obscure villages of the West Indies without the luxury of car, electricity, running water or the "mall" ... and 10 years as a misfit back in my own USA trying to learn how to live with all the bewilderment and complications of such a confusing materialistic society. Whoosh! What a trip!

So why the blog? Well, sugar-lump, through the tech-world of blogs, videos, audios & websites we can elevate and support so many good causes! We empower ourselves and each other through these amazing (getting simpler every day) vehicles! The more we share the more we gain. Tell it girls! Really tell it!

(1) GoogleDocs (2) OpenOffice (3) Zoho - all provide personal productivity tools like word processors, spreadsheets and presentation tools. They are all different but very useful. Take a look and decide which make the most sense for your project. ....... ....... ........ ...... ....... ....... ....... ....... (4) Skype - for Voice Over IP (VOIP) computer to computer calls. This is a great way to talk to your friends while connected. It is free computer to computer and can be used to create a conference call. ..... ..... ..... ..... (5) Firefox - a very standard and open source web browser similar to Internet Explorer. This is most useful of you are a developer, but is a good choice for anyone. (6) Pidgin, Adium - Instant messaging applications that talk to lots of instant messaging services. These will help you connect to members of your team even if everyone chats on a different instant messaging system ......... ........ ......... ......... (7) Vyew - Powerful web conferencing application. You should take a look at this. It is a great way to share what you are working on across the web. And it makes it easy to go stop and then go back and continue where you left off. Works great together with Skype.
